- how to voice the initials (zh, ch, sh, r, z, c, s);
- the phantom-i final;
- five new Mandarin words: chūzūchē, shīfu, lǎoshī, cèsuǒ, shuàigē; and
- the combinations between these initials and the finals we’ve learnt.
